Pool Leak Detection FAQ
Does my pool need to be full of water and clean before you can find my leak?
Yes, all swimming pools need to be full of water (to operational level), clean and clear. For some leaks, we need to dive the pool to find them. And it's nice if we don't have to get into dirty pools.
Do you need access to my pool equipment such as pump, filter and solar heating?
Yes, we require access to all pool equipment.
Do I or anyone need to be home?
No, we do not require anyone to be present on site. If you have agressive dogs, we would appreciate if they could be safely locked away from our working area. Of course, if you would like to be there, we are always keen to show you the leak and explain face to face your options for a successful repair.
Can my leak be repaired on your initial visit?
Most of the time, we can repair your leak on our initial visit. However some leaks require additional time to fix e.g. leaks in underground plumbing. If this is the case, we will provide a free written quote to return and repair the leak.
What exactly is a pre-purchase inspection of a swimming pool?
When looking to purchase a new property that has a swimming pool, it is important to know if the pool is in a sound condition and will not end up costing you a small fortune to fix any hidden problems. A pre-purchase pool inspection by one of our highly trained technicians will identify any leaks or potential problems - a small fee to pay for peace of mind. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment via credit card (VISA, Mastercard), cheque, cash or bank deposit. Details will be on your invoice.
